Thailand is one of the world’s top tourist destinations. The country is home to amazing beaches, islands and ancient temples that attract millions of tourists from around the world. It is also known for its luxury shopping malls and markets. Bangkok is the capital of Thailand. The city is known for its street life, landmarks and nightlife. Unique architectural landmarks like the Grand Palace and the Buddhist Temples make it stand apart from other global tourist destinations. The Chao Phraya River flows through Bangkok and adds to the beauty of the city. Thailand is known for its vibrant cultural heritage and natural beauty. Theatrical performances such as the Siam Niramit show attract millions of tourists from around the world.

Starting my journey of Thailand, I entered the country through Bangkok. My first destination of stay has been Pattaya. Therefore, I have traveled from Bangkok to Pattaya. After settling down in Pattaya, my first destination in Pattaya has been the Walking Street. The Walking Street is famous for its nightlife as it features various restaurants, hotels, bars, nightclubs, music venues, discotheques and shops. The Walking Street features a large number of neon signs. It is a good place to just hang around and discover the Thai culture. For Muslims, there are many Halal and vegetarian restaurants.

Up next is my experience of Pattaya Bay. Pattaya Bay area is home to one of the world’s largest beach resorts. The Pattaya Beach is one of the top attractions in Pattaya and offers various water sports such as Finswimming, Jet Skiing, Parasailing, Sailing, Scuba Diving, Yatching, and more. I have been able to experience these water sports. However, my favorite Water Sport is Parasailing. Parasailing involves a person being strapped with a parasail which is connected to a boat. As the boat drives off, the parasail ascends, carrying the attached person into the air. Flying in the air is a breathtaking experience and once you start enjoying it, you don’t want it to stop. After a busy day full of water sports at the beach, I relaxed at the beach and afterwards, I had lunch at the beach. Other important locations of Pattaya include temples, botanical gardens, water parks and markets and shopping centers.

Phuket is another one of Thailand’s top destinations. It is also the largest Island in Thailand. One of the top tourist hotspots in Phuket is Patong. Patong refers to the beach and town on Phuket’s west coast. Famous for its beach, nightlife and shopping, It attracts tourists from around the world. Next on my list is Bangkok, the Thai capital. Bangkok is consistently ranked among the world’s most visited cities. Bangkok features many important landmarks and locations. One of the world’s most famous floating markets is located around Bangkok. I have been to the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. It is one of my favorite places in Thailand. The floating market consists of a maze of narrow canals in which you can take a ride in a small wooden boat. The canals feature various shops that sell many things ranging from food to souvenirs. During the boat ride, there are various stops where you can leave the boat for a while and discover more of the area by just taking a walk. The market has also been featured in various films.

One of the most popular entertainment venues in Bangkok is the Siam Niramit Cultural Show. The Pre-show attractions include a Thai village, Thai massage, souvenir shop, elephants, outdoor dance performances, music performances and more. In addition, buffet dinner features various Thai and international dishes. The Siam Niramit Show is one of the largest stage productions in the world. The show presents Thailand’s culture, customs and traditions in an epic style featuring hundreds of performers including animals. The professionally produced production brings back the history of Thailand in a unique style on one of the world’s largest stages.

Shopping in Bangkok is one of its highlights. If you’re staying within the Sukhumvit area, you can find plenty of retail outlets as well as many restaurants. However, the areas of Siam and Ratchaprasong are the main shopping districts of Bangkok.  In these areas, there are various shopping centers and shopping streets from where you can find almost anything. In addition, almost all types of restaurants are also present in these areas. One of the major shopping centers in Bangkok is River City Bangkok. It is located near the Chao Phraya River and features various shops and restaurants. Taking a cruise with dinner is easy when you’re around the River city Bangkok. After shopping, I have taken a cruise and dinner on the Chao Phraya River. The cruise ship has been one of the largest cruise ships that I have ever been on. The dinner experience has also been one of the finest due to the variety and quality of food on board the ship. From the deck of the ship, you can view many of the city’s notable landmarks such as bridges, buildings and temples. My conclusion is that Bangkok is an excellent experience and should be on the list of every world traveler.
